The best way to grow as a person is to get your hands dirty with creating something out of nothing. One of our desires is to provide opportunities for restorative and devotional work regardless of who you are.
Community Volunteer Days.
If you are interested in volunteering at St Columba’s, we would be delighted to welcome you. If you have a passion for heritage building & renovation, a flair for gardening, a deep passion for reforesting our landscape, caring for livestock and eating the fruits of your labour, then joining us as a volunteer is worth exploring. Help us to bring our New Monastic Farmstead to life and leave your deposit of genius and uniqueness in the soil. Volunteering is also a great way of getting to know us as a community if you are interested in becoming a member of the Society
Donation and Giving.
The community at St Columba’s is in its early days, whilst we establish our sustainable economy, we are asking people to support us through donations and giving. Small amounts regularly through a standing order linked to GIFT Aid are a great way of getting behind what the Society is doing. Please fill out the form on the inside back page and post to our address, or else you can download the form via our website.
Our Community Benefit Society (CBS).
Columba’s Barn was established by the community as means by which individuals can demonstrate their support and belief for the work of the Society in a more substantial financial way. It is our way of expressing a more inclusive circular economy. So, whether you live locally to Chanctonbury, or wish to participate from a distance through share ownership of our community farmstead, becoming a share holder in the CBS is a great way of supporting and receiving a benefit.
For more information on share ownership please review our Prospectus via the Columba’s Barn Page on our website or contact info@st-columba.com and ask for a PDF copy to be sent to you.
